Analgesics Drug

Analgesics are medications that relieve various types of pain. A few analgesics are available over-the-counter, but most require a prescription. Pain relief medications do not affect nerves, senses, or consciousness like anesthesia medications used during surgery. This kind of medication is required post surgery, for muscle soreness, headache, twisted ankle, back pain, arthritis, etc. The two major groups of analgesics are anti-inflammatory analgesics and opioids. The analgesics drugs are available in gel, suspension, injection and many other forms.
